Capital da Comunidade Autônoma da Catalunha (Cataluña), Barcelona fica no nordeste espanhol, de frente para o azul Mediterrâneo.

Que lugar!!!

Belas praias, patrimônio arquitetônico e cultural, fabulosa culinária, facilidade de transporte e muita diversão, fazem dela uma das cidades mais turísticas do mundo, com 7.5 milhões de pessoas por ano.

Pergunte a quem conhece Barcelona e todos responderão que viveriam lá, sem pensar.

Sabe por quê? A cidade tem uma incrível energia: certamente a mais animada que conheço….

A população regional fala o idioma catalão, assim como o espanhol, que é falado em toda a Espanha.

O Metro de Barcelona serve todos os bairros da cidade, incluindo a maioria das atrações turísticas.

Dirigir na cidade é bem tranquilo, portanto alugar um carro é uma opção bastante viável e conveniente, lembrando que os custos de estacionamento e de combustível deverão fazer parte de seu planejamento de viagem.

Os bairros Eixample (Izquierda e Derecha) proporcionam excelente localização em termos de hotéis e restaurantes, de onde você poderá fazer belos passeios sem necessidade de transporte.

Nesta região da cidade, observe que os quarteirões, de 113 x 113 metros, apresentam os 4 cantos chanfrados, dando maior amplitude aos imóveis de esquina, além de transformar cada simples cruzamento num novo espaço urbano.

O revolucionário projeto do urbanista Ildefons Cedrà foi aprovado em 1859, criando a ampliação da cidade, após a demolição das antigas muralhas, no ano de 1854.

 

Sugiro que vá de dia ao Bairro Gótico, pois o ambiente é único, apesar de um pouco assustador: pelas estreitas vielas, prédios escuros e frequência um tanto “alternativa”.

Com seu maravilhoso visual para o Mediterrâneo, além de ótimas opções de restaurantes, merece uma visita diurna para dar uma relaxada.

Se tiver tempo, faça os passeios de barco e de teleférico, pois são inesquecíveis.

 

– Horta Guinardo e Gracia

Onde fica o famoso e imperdível Parque Guell

 

– Montjuic  

Ponto alto da cidade, de onde se avista Barcelona de maneira completa, incluindo a região portuária e a comovente Sagrada Família ou Templo Expiatório da Sagrada Família, como é chamado por lá.

Barcelona – the city everyone would love to live

What a place!!!

Beautiful beaches, architectural and cultural heritage, fabulous food, ease of transport and lots of fun, make it one of the most tourist cities in the world, with 7.5 million people per year.

Ask those who know Barcelona and all of them will answer they would love living there with no doubt.

Do you know why? The city has an incredible energy: certainly the most excited place I’ve ever known. …

Its Ramblas (pedestrian streets) are bustling, no matter day or night.

The main districts of the city (barrios) are laid out as below:

The regional population speaks Catalan as well as Spanish, which is spoken throughout Spain.

The Barcelona Metro covers all Barcelona’s districts, including the most tourist attractions.

Driving in the city is very easy, so renting a car is a convenient option indeed.

If you do it, be sure to consider the cost of parking and fuel in your travel planning.

Stay in Barcelona at least 4 days.

If you can get more, will not regret it: I can assure you without fear of making mistakes.

There are many interesting things to see!

The Eixample  (Izquierda and Derecha) districts provide excellent location in terms of hotels and restaurants, from where you can make nice tours without need of transport.

In this region of the city it is interesting to note that the blocks feature the 4 tapered edges, giving greater breadth to real estate, in addition to transform every single junction in a new urban space.

The revolutionary design of the urban planner Ildefons Cedrà was approved in 1859, creating the expansion of the city after the demolition of the ancient walls, in the year 1854.

I suggest you go to the Gothic district during the daylight because the environment is unique, although a little scary: through the narrow alleys, dark buildings and often somewhat “alternative” people will be seen.

Even so, be sure to visit it!!

I know a former Barcelona resident who advises people to “get lost” in the Gothic quarter …

I don’t get that far…..

Other districts that certainly must be visited, are:

-Barceloneta and Olympic Village

With its wonderful visual for the Mediterranean Sea, as well as several restaurants and a good relax.

If you have time, make boat and cable car trips not to forget Barcelona.

-Horta Guinardo and Gracia

Where the famous Park Guell lies.

-Montjuic

High point of the city, where you will see Barcelona completly, including the port region and the touching Sagrada Familia church.
