Inaugurado em 1989 com nome de MGM Studios, a partir de 2008 o terceiro Parque temático da Disney na Florida passou a se chamar Hollywood Studios (HS).

A ideia do HS é apresentar ao visitante o mundo do entretenimento, num ambiente que transporta ao auge da Hollywood dos anos 30 e 40.

Assim sendo, o Hollywood Studios é dividido em alamedas, conforme veremos a seguir.

O antigo Chapéu de Feiticeiro (The Sorcerer’s Hat), que ficava no meio do Parque, foi desativado no ano de 2015.

Agora, ao entrar pela Hollywood Boulevard, vemos ao fundo o lindo Chinese Theater.

Não se esqueça de obter um mapa e Time Guide logo na entrada do parque, OK?

Eles serão extremamente úteis para guiá-lo às atrações que você sonha em conhecer.

O Time Guide trará os horários dos diversos shows, parada, etc, de forma que a planejar melhor seu dia.

A interessante maneira de aproveitar o parque, é através dos FastPass+ para as atrações mais populares.

No mapa aparece a localização e o código FP, que indica os brinquedos mais procurados.

Mas, afinal o que é o FastPass+?

FastPass+ é uma reserva (gratuita) para que você chegue à atração na hora de sua conveniência.

O FastPass+ (FP) pode ser obtido de duas formas: diretamente nos quiosques do parque ou através do aplicativo My Disney Experience.

Você procura previamente o quiosque mais próximo, escolhe a atração, consegue o seu PF e ganha tempo “pulando” a fila normal.

7 – For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

Uma apresentação musical de 30 minutos, com personagens de “Frozen”, muitas histórias e músicas para cantar juntos.

8 – Star Wars: Path of the Jedi

Um curta-metragem de 12 minutos que resume a consagrada saga Star Wars.

9 – Celebrity Spot

Encontre neste local o personagem Olaf do filme “Frozen”

10 – Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spetacular!

30 minutos de eletrizantes aventuras com Indy e Marion.

11- Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple

20 minutos de apresentação ao vivo, na qual atores e visitantes de 4 a 12 anos participam de um treinamento no Templo Sagrado de Jedi.

No início do dia as crianças deverão inscrever-se pessoalmente no Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. Vagas limitadas.

Encontre os personagens de Toy Story no set de filmagem.

Conheça diversas criações de Walt Disney, através de uma viagem multimídia. (Vale a pena!!!)

35 – Voyage of the Little Mermaid

15 minutos de show ao vivo, apresentando os melhores momentos da Pequena Sereia. (Vale a pena!!!)

36 – Star Wars Launch Bay

Conheça os heróis e vilões de Star Wars, além de objetos dos filmes e vídeos.

37- Disney Junior—Live on Stage!

24 minutos de Show musical, cantando, dançando e brincando com personagens Disney Junior.

 

• Sunset Boulevard (melhor região do Hollywood Studios)

39 – Beauty and the Beast

Espetáculo musical tipo Broadway baseado no clássico “A Bela e a Fera” – 30 minutos – Consulte o Time Guide – FP (muito bom!!)

40 – Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Estrelando Aerosmith

Antes dessa aventura, os visitantes assistem a uma impressionante apresentação holográfica, na qual o Aerosmith ensaia num estúdio de gravação. Você jura de pés juntos que são eles de verdade. Em seguida, entra um agente, informando que estão atrasados para o show desta noite e que a limousine já os aguarda lá fora.

Então, você é convidado a acompanhá-los, embarcando em outra limousine, que nada mais é do que uma espetacular montanha russa ao som frenético do Aerosmith.

Crianças acima de 122cm – FP ( não perca por nada desse mundo…!!!)

41 – The Twilight Zone – Tower of Terror

Em 1939, cinco hóspedes entram no elevador do Hollywood Tower Hotel e, ao chegarem ao 13º andar, um raio atinge o prédio. O elevador despenca e aqueles ocupantes nunca mais foram vistos.

Agora eles são fantasmas nesta assustadora e mal-assombrada torre e você resolve ir lá para conferir….

É bárbaro, mas não embarque logo depois de comer. É sério…. seu estômago vai sair pela boca. Acaba a luz no Hotel bem na hora que o elevador sobe (junto com o elevador também sobe sua adrenalina). Se desse para desistir no meio do caminho você iria implorar, mas é tarde demais. Bem longe do prédio, já se ouvem gritos dos caras lá dentro….

Uma verdadeira loucura !!!! É pagar pra sofrer…

Para crianças acima de 102cm (sinceramente, eu acho muito pouco….é judiação…) – FP

42 – Fantasmic!

Uma única atração às 19:00 horas – Show de 30 minutos com personagens Disney apresentando fabulosos efeitos luminosos, desfiles de barcos alegóricos, chafariz rítmico, projeções em cortina d’água, fogos de artifício, etc. Não dá para perder!!! – FP

Chegue antes, pois é extremamente concorrido e os lugares na arquibancada são limitados.

Fique na posição mais central possível em relação ao palco.

Agora saia do Fantasmic, caminhe até o final do Hollywood Boulevard para assistir à nova e sensacional atração do Hollywood Studios, que começa às 20:15 na região do Teatro Chinês (Chinese Theater):  Disney Movie Magic Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular

Um fabuloso show de 14 minutos com efeitos luminosos, projeções e fogos de artifício.

Em certas épocas do ano o horário e dia destas duas apresentações podem variar, portanto escolha o dia certo.

Hollywood Studios – The world of entertainment

The third Disney’s theme park in Florida was opened in 1989 as MGM Studios, later on (2008) it was renamed Hollywood Studios.

The Hollywood Studios’ main idea is to introduce the world of entertainment inside an environment that carries guests to the glamourous Hollywood of the 30’s and 40’s.

Therefore, this amazing Park was divided into promenades as we’ll see hereunder.

The iconic Sorcerer’s Hat, which stood in the middle of the Park, was disabled in the year 2015.

Now, by entering the Hollywood Boulevard, guests will view the Chinese Theater at the background.

 

• Map, Time Guide and FastPass+ (information valid to all the Disney’s parks)

Don’t forget to get a Map and Time Guide in the Park main entrance, right?

They will be very useful to guide you to the rides you’re looking forward to meet.

The Time Guide will come up with the timetable of shows, parades, etc, so you can plan your day.

The smartest way to enjoy your day is to get the FastPass+ (FP) to popular attractions.

You might be asking: what does FastPass+ mean?

FastPass+ is a ride (free) reservation that guests will can book to their timeframe convenience.

The FastPass+ can be obtained in the park’s kiosks or via My Disney Experience app.

Inside the Park you must previously go to the nearest kiosk, get a FP, so you’ll skip the long line saving wait time.

 

• Hollywood Boulevard

Along this way you’ll find:

Restaurants

Gift shop and souvenirs of the Park

Towels, embroidered and custom caps

Male and female clothing

 

• Echo Lake

7 – For the First Time in Forever: a Frozen sing-along Celebration

A 30-minute musical show with characters from “Frozen”, many stories and songs to sing along.

8 – Star Wars: Path of the Jedi

A 12-minute film that sums up the Star Wars saga.

9 – Celebrity Spot

There guests will have a good time meeting the character Olaf from the movie “Frozen”.

10 – Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!

30 minutes of thrilling adventures with Indy and Marion.

11 – Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple

20 minutes of live performance in which actors invite the children (from 4 to 12 years old) to attend a training in the sacred Temple of Jedi.

The kids must register personally at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost. Limited availability.

12 – Star Tours

The adventure continues – A (highly radical) 3-D motion-simulated space flight – for children taller than 102 cm – FP

25-minute 3-D film based on the famous Muppet Show series – FP

 

• Commissary Lane

27 – Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet Dreams

At this spot guests will meet the characters Mickey dressed up as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Minnie in red carpet couture clothing.

 

• Pixar Place

30 – Toy Story Mania

4-D shooter game featuring the main characters from the movie Toy Story (very good!)

31 – Buzz Lightyear and Woody

Meet here the characters from Toy Story on the film set.

 

• Animation Courtyard

34 – Walt Disney Presents

Discover several Walt Disney’s creations through a multimedia trip.

35 – Voyage of the Little Mermaid

15-minute live show, featuring the best moments of The Little Mermaid. (It’s worth it!)

36 – Star Wars Launch Bay

View the Star Wars’ heroes and villains, as well as objects of movies and videos.

37 – Disney Junior – Live on Stage!

24 minutes of music gig, singing, dancing and playing with Disney’s characters.

 

• Sunset Boulevard (the Hollywood Studios’ best zone)

39 – Beauty and the Beast

Broadway-type show based on the classic “Beauty and the Beast” – 30 minutes – look for it in the Time Guide – FP (very good!)

40 – Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster

Starring Aerosmith

Before this adventure, guests watch a stunning holographic presentation, in which Aerosmith rehearses in a recording Studio. People could swear they are real. Then, an agent shows up stating they are late to the tonight gig and a limo wait for them outside.

Soon after, guests are invited to accompany them, embarking on another limousine, which is nothing else, but a spectacular roller coaster to the frantic sound of Aerosmith. Children taller than 122 cm – FP (don’t lose it…!)

41 – The Twilight Zone-Tower of Terror

In 1939, five guests get in the Hollywood Tower Hotel’s lift and as it reaches the 13th  floor a huge lightning strikes the whole building. Suddenly the lift collapses and those occupants were never seen again.

Now they are ghosts in this creepy and haunted Tower and guests choose go there to check it out. …

It’s breathtaking, indeed!!!!

This Blog advises all the guests not ride it soon after eating.

We mean it!!! …. your stomach could come out of mouth.

The Hotel’s light goes out as soon as the lift starts rising (along with it, your adrenaline will also go up). If you could give up halfway you would beg it for sure, but it is too late.

Away from the building you’ll hear the poor guys shouting inside ….

Real crazy!!!! You pay it to suffer … – for children taller than 102 cm (honestly, I think they should be even taller …) – FP

42 – Fantasmic!

A single attraction at 07:00 pm – a concert of 30 minutes with Disney characters featuring fabulous light effects, boat parade, colorful fountains, rhythmic projections in huge water screen, fireworks, etc. Not to be missed! – FP

Come early because it uses to be extremely crowded and seats are limited.

As much as possible you should try to stay in a central zone of the stadium.

 

After the Fantasmic show, walk to the end of the Hollywood Boulevard to watch the sensational new attraction of the Hollywood Studios, which begins at 08:15 pm, in the Chinese Theater zone: Disney Movie Magic Star Wars: Galactic Spectacular

A fabulous show of light effects, projections and fireworks on the Star Wars films.

 Note: these two last  shows (time and day) may vary throughout the year, so make sure to choose the right time to go.
