No post de hoje, voltamos à Campânia para conhecer um dos lugares mais belos do mundo:
a Ilha de Capri
Localizada no golfo de Nápoles e banhada pelo Mar Tirreno, a formação da ilha deixa clara sua origem vulcânica.
Se tiver disponibilidade de tempo, escolha um dia ensolarado para garantir o melhor passeio possível em Capri e Anacapri.
Veja as opções de travessia, dependendo do lugar de origem:
- Nápoles: dois portos atendem a travessia: Molo Beverello ou Calata di Massa
- Sorrento, saindo do porto da cidade
- Costa Amalfitana: de abril a outubro barcos saem de Positano, Amalfi ou Salerno, sendo que, de julho a agosto, também partem de Maiori
Mantenha sua câmera fotográfica preparada para registrar o percurso, a chegada, passeios locais e retorno ao continente. Tudo é maravilhoso!!!
Independente de onde partir, procure chegar à ilha entre 08:00 e 09:00 horas da manhã para melhor aproveitar sua jornada.
Quem estiver com veículo alugado deve deixá-lo no continente e fazer a travessia de barco. Mesmo quem for se hospedar na ilha, não traga o veículo, pois as vias são estreitas e a circulação por lá é bastante complicada!!!!
Qualquer que seja o ponto de origem, Spiaggia de Marina Piccola será o local de desembarque.
Ao se aproximar da praia, ao lado direito estão os Faraglioni, que são picos rochosos desgastados pela ação do tempo e das ondas azuis do Mar Tirreno.

Para subir de Marina Piccola até o topo do morro, onde se encontra a vila de Capri, há duas opções: ônibus ou táxi.
A viagem de ônibus é folclórica, com direito a paradas para manobras, pois as curvas da estrada são tão fechadas que o veículo não consegue passar de uma só vez.
O percurso de pouco mais de 1,0 km leva 40 minutos… Dá para entender a dificuldade?
Os ônibus geralmente seguem lotados de turistas vindos de diversas partes do mundo, porém o ponto alto é a inevitável discussão entre os (poucos) passageiros italianos e o motorista.
Cena de filme !!!!!
Se não conseguir acomodar-se num assento, mantenha-se firme durante todo o percurso, pois as freadas bruscas são frequentes: há pontos da estrada em que só passa um veículo por vez…….
De qualquer maneira, é uma aventura à parte……. Imperdível!!!
OK, eu entendo perfeitamente: uma vez foi suficiente e você resolveu que voltará de táxi ….
Isso é normal….
Agora esqueça o ônibus e comece a curtir os encantos da ilha:
- Capri
Ao chegar, caminhe até o centro histórico e, na Piazza Umberto I, conheça a bela Torre do Relógio.
A poucos passos dali há um terraço com incrível vista panorâmica.
No bar ao lado, compre um refrigerante, água ou cerveja gelada para beber enquanto admira a beleza do Mar Tirreno e as vilas que integram a ilha.
O movimento de pedestres nas ruas é intenso. Moradores locais se misturam aos turistas hospedados na cidade, além de outros que vieram passar o dia e que retornarão ao continente no final da tarde.
Caminhe sem rumo, observando as construções os diversos restaurantes, bares, lojas, joalherias, etc.
Aproveite o momento, afinal você está em Capri, palco de diversos filmes e frequentado por consagrados artistas de cinema: Briggite Bardot, Marcelo Mastroianni, Claudia Cardinale, Sophia Loren, Clark Gable, etc
OK, entento; você é jovem e não conhece nenhum deles, não é?
Se dispuser de tempo conheça os Jardins de Augusto, que ficam a 800 m do centro de Capri. A paisagem é simplesmente exuberante.

- Anacapri
Esta romântica vila fica 3,3 km a Oeste de Capri e, conforme vimos acima, você vai preferir ir de táxi, não é?
Então, negocie antes o valor da corrida com o motorista e talvez interesse saber que há possibilidade de compartilhar este custo com pessoas (estranhas) que também queiram fazer o trajeto até Anacapri ou vice-versa.
Neste caso, costuma sair bem mais barato por pessoa.
Mesmo que seja esta sua opção, não deixe de fazer pelo menos um percurso por sua conta, pois, de novo, é cena de filme: os táxis são conversíveis e em dias quentes, ou durante a chuva (que azar, heim!!), são cobertos por uma lona colorida que dá “aquele charme” ao veículo. Então, acomode-se no banco de trás, coloque óculos de sol e sinta-se um artista de cinema….
Vale a pena!!!!

Se você for do tipo que curte teleférico, há um deles ligando Anacapri ao Monte Solaro.

Ao deixar Anacapri, desça até a vila de Marina Grande para embarcar no clássico passeio de barco que contorna toda a ilha, com direito a entrar na famosa Gruta Azul ou Grotta Azurra, como dizem os italianos.
Quem estiver em Capri, terá opção de descer para Marina Grande por meio de um funicular.
Neste caso compre seu bilhete e embarque ao lado da Torre do Relógio.

Navegar por dento dos Faraglioni é uma experiência inesquecível!!!
O primeiro passeio sai às 09:30 e o embarque sempre será no próximo barco disponível, ao custo de € 18,00 por pessoa.
A altura da Gruta Azul é bastante restrita, portanto depende da maré e de condições meteorológicas favoráveis para ser visitada.
A entrada na gruta é cobrada à parte.
O barco que contorna a ilha precisa parar próximo da entrada, de modo que os visitantes passem para uma embarcação de menor porte.

Desta vez você irá desembolsar mais € 13,00 e o tempo de travessia será de…..5 minutos………(lembre-se, você está em Capri….)
Mesmo se a maré estiver alta, portanto sem condições de entrar na Gruta Azul, não deixe de fazer o passeio de barco, pois vale muito a pena conhecer o restante do trajeto.
Então relaxe e deixe a Gruta Azul para a próxima vez que voltar à encantadora ilha.

In today’s post, we’re back to Campania meeting one of the most beautiful places in the world: the Isle of Capri
Located on the Gulf of Naples and surrounded by the Tyrrhenian Sea, the island formation makes it clear its volcanic origin.
In case you have availability of time, choose a sunny day to ensure the best possible tour in Capri and Anacapri.
Please find below the crossing options depending on the place you are:
1) Naples: two ports operate the crossing: Molo Beverello or Calata di Massa
2) Sorrento, leaving the town’s port
3) Amalfi Coast: from April to October the boats leave from Positano, Amalfi or Salerno; from July to August, also departing from Maiori
Be sure to keep your camera ready to record the route, arrival, local tours and return to mainland.
Everything is wonderful!
Regardless your point of origin, try to reach the island between 8:00am and 9:00am, so to best enjoy your journey.
Anyone with a vehicle should leave it on the mainland then make the crossing by boat. Even those who are to stay on the island should not cross the vehicle once the roads are narrow and the local circulation is quite complicated!!
Wherever you come from, Spiaggia Piccola Marina will be the landing point.
By approaching the beach, look right to see the Faraglioni: the rocky peaks worn by the weather as well as the blue waves from the Tyrrhenian Sea.

From Marina Piccola to Capri town there are two options to move up to the top of the hill: bus or taxi.
The bus ride is simply hilarious, with radical stops for maneuvering once the curves are so narrow that vehicles fail to pass them at once.
The route of just over 1, 0 km takes 40 minutes. Can understand the difficulty, now?
The buses always follow full of tourists from around the world, but the highlight is the inevitable discussion among the (few) Italian passengers and the driver.
A true scene from movie!!!!!
If you cannot accommodate yourself on a seat, hold tight all the way because sudden screeches are frequent: there’re points of the road where only one vehicle passes at a time.
Anyway, it’s a true adventure…..Not to be missed!
OK, I understand you perfectly: once was enough and you decided to come back by taxi. …
This is absolutely normal ….
Now let’s forget the bus and start enjoying the charms of the island:
- Capri
Upon your arrival walk to the historic centre in Piazza Umberto I to meet the beautiful Clock Tower. A few steps away, there is a terrace with amazing panoramic views.
In the bar next door, buy a soda, water or cold beer to drink while admiring the beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the villages of the island.
The pedestrians motion on the streets is quite intense. Locals mingle with tourists staying in the city, as well as others who came to spend the day but returning to the mainland in the late afternoon.
Walk aimlessly, observing the happy people on the streets or inside restaurants, bars, shops, jewellers, etc.
Enjoy the moment, after all you are in Capri, scene of several films and frequented by established artists like Bridget Bardot, Marcelo Mastroianni, Claudia Cardinale, Sophia Loren, Clark Gable, etc
OK, whatever; you are young and never heard of them, right?
Anyway…….
If you have time go to the Gardens of Augustus, which are 800 m from Capri downtown. The landscape is simply lush.
- Anacapri
This romantic village is 3.3 km West of Capri and as mentioned above you’d rather going by taxi, right?
So previously negotiate the rate with the driver and perhaps interest you to learn that’s possible to share this cost with people (strangers) who want to do the way to Anacapri or vice versa.
In this case, it works out cheaper per person.
Regardless your choice, be sure to make at least one leg of the route on your own, because, again, it’s a movie scene: taxis use to be convertible, so on hot days or during the rain (tough luck, huh!!) they cover the vehicles with charming colorful canvas.
Then, make yourself comfortable on the back seat and be sure to wear sunglasses to feel yourself like a movie star…

Discover additional wonders by walking around Anacapri.
If you’re the kind of guy who likes a chair lift, maybe you’ll be happy to learn there’s one of them linking Anacapri to Monte Solaro.
Leaving Anacapri, go down to Marina Grande village so to embark on the classic boat trip around the island, comprising the famous Blue Cave or “Grotta Azurra”, as Italians say.
Those who are in Capri might as well go down to Marina Grande by means of a nice funicular.
In this case buy your ticket and board next to the Clock Tower.
Sailing through the Faraglioni is an unforgettable experience!
The first ride around the island leaves at 9:30am. Passangers will embark the next available boat at a cost of € 18.00 per person.
The height of the Blue Grotto is quite restricted, therefore it depends on the tide plus propitious weather conditions to be visited.
The entrance in the cave is charged aside.
The regular trip boats must anchor near the cave, so visitors can pass to a smaller vessel.
This time you’ll shell out additional € 13.00 for a crossing time of. … 5 minutes … … (remember, you are in Capri.)
Even if the tide is high, therefore unable to enter the Blue Grotto, be sure to take the trip boat because you’ll be able to know the other points of the way.
In this case, relax then let the Blue Grotto for the next time you come to this charming island.
